Meet The Instructor
Magi Discoe has recently moved to West Sonoma from
San Francisco. She is a credentialed teacher in both
life science and social science. She has taught science
for the past fifteen years and has taught and tutored
a wide range of students from “at risk”
students to Harvard graduates. Before becoming a teacher
she worked as a paramedic in both in Oakland and San
Francisco for ten years. During that time she received
two awards for heroism. She has also painted houses,
picked tomatoes in Greece, written and published satire,
been a carnival barker and a detective. She lives in Graton with her husband and six chickens: Rosie, Betty, Babs, Coco, Greta and Penny.
